With the development of science and technology,intelligent structure has been widely used in aerospace.Due to its low damping,it is of great significance to control the vibration generated by external interference.Intelligent structure is an intelligent system integrating drive,sensing,controller and structure,especially piezoelectric intelligent structure as drive element.Smart materials can respond to the stimulation of external pressure,electricity and other physical quantities,deform themselves and convert these functions into electricity,so as to use this driving characteristic to suppress the vibration of smart structures.In this paper,the intelligent cantilever beam made of piezoelectric ceramics and flexible cantilever beam is studied.Firstly,the hysteresis characteristics of intelligent structures are analyzed.Based on the theory of flexural vibration of flexible structures,the natural frequencies and vibration modes of intelligent structures are discussed.According to the piezoelectric constitutive equation,bouc-wen equation,mode superposition method,dynamic model of cantilever beam and other theoretical principles,the hysteretic mechanical model of intelligent structure is established.Secondly,based on the genetic algorithm,the hysteretic model of the intelligent structure is identified with unknown parameters.Through the MATLAB software environment,the hysteretic model identified can accurately fit with the experimental data.Based on the identification of hysteretic model,the ideal damping system is designed and the ideal reference model of intelligent structure is established.Based on the ideal reference model,the adaptive control strategy of the reference model of the intelligent structure is designed,and the adaptive control system of the intelligent structure is obtained.MATLAB/SIMULINK programming environment is used to simulate thereference model adaptive control system of intelligent structure.By applying an initial displacement to the free end of the intelligent structure and running the reference model adaptive controller,the simulation results show that the reference model adaptive control can effectively control the free vibration of the intelligent cantilever beam.Finally,on the basis of the simulation,using keyence laser displacement sensor devices,MCC voltage signal acquisition and piezoelectric material(PZT)has set up a experimental platform for the intelligent adaptive control structure,using the principle of LABVIEW and MATLAB programming,realize the intelligent structure model reference adaptive control experiment,through the experimental results show that the reference model are consistent with the simulation results proved the effectiveness of the adaptive control in vibration control application.
