Nowadays,increasing with environmental pollution,the demand for "environmentally friendly" materials are groving.Therefore,this article adopts the natural biodegradable plant fiber reeds and polypropylene(PP)resin composite to prepare biodegradable composites.On the one hand,this method can reduce the non-renewable resources of oil consumption,on the other hand it also can slow down the environmental pollution problems continue to deteriorate.Due to the low temperature impact performance of PP resin is small,which limit its using scope.Therefore,this research adopts the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA),Ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)and linear low-density polyethy-lene(LLDPE)to toughen PP.The mechanical properties test results show that:The mechanical properties of LLDPE blend system is better.From cost and performance into consideration,the ratio of blending system of PP/LLDPE = 60/40 is determind the optimal formula of matrix.The second,the influence of reed dosage for the properties of PP/LLDPE is investigated.When the content of reed is 30 percent,the performance of composite is better.Due to a large number of polar groups in the reed fiber lead to the compatibility of reed and matrix resin is poor.In this paper,reed fiber is modified by silane coupling agent A151 and KH 550 and ester titanate coupling agent NDZ101,urea and maleic anhydride.Considering mechanical properties and processability,the composites preparation of unmodified reed and five kinds of modified reed blend with PP/LLDPE matrix resin,composite preparation of fiber modified by maleic anhydride has good mechanical properties and processing properties.The bending strength and impact strength increase 18.36%and 10.26%respectively,the melt flow rate increase 15.87%.The influence of dosage of monomer,reaction temperature,reaction time and dosage of initiator on the Cell-g-MAH grafting rate are studied,the results show that:when the dosage ratio of maleic anhydride and reed is 3:1,reaction temperature is 100?,reaction time is 3h,dosage of initiator is 12 ml,grafting reaction can go smoothly and has a high grafting rate,the maximum grafting rate is 8.02%.The composite preparation of unmodified reed named PLR and the composite preparation of the reed modified by maleic anhydride named PLM,both of them have carried on the suction performance,thermal stability,the micro structure and the degradation performance test.Test results show that compared with the PLR,the bibulous rate of PLM reduce by 49.17%,thermal stability has a certain degree of improvement,microstructure showed that the reed modified by maleic anhydride has a better dispersion in the resinFinally,the inoculated microorganisms and soil burial methods to degradation test of PLR and PLM,the results show that:both of the PLR and PLM composites have certain degradability.The weightlessness rate and mechanical damping degree of PLR and PLM are 0.726%,1.156%and 15.6%,1.156%respectively in four weeks around the microbial degradation.The mechanics attenuation of PLR and PLM are 43.2%and 27.81%in seven months under buried degradation,the result show that the maleic anhydride modified reed fiber to the degradation of PP/LLDPE/reed fiber composite materials play a promoting role in performance.
