The hexapetalus belongs to Annonaceae genus of Artabotrys.Annonaceae plants so rich in antitumor active ingredient that concerned by scholars at home and abroad, foreign scholars had studied the chemical composition in the root, stem(skin),leaves and fruits of the Artabotrys, the separation of alkaloids, flavonoids, lignans and terpenoids and various types of compounds, including most alkaloids compounds with antitumor activity. But so far, research is more that on chemical composition and pharmacological activity of Artabotrys genus grow in our country, but a lack of systematic study of alkaloids, moreover, the active mechanism is not in-depth study. For further development and utilization the medicinal value, clarify its efficacy material base of Artabotrys genus, this study is systemic research on the composition of alkaloids of Artabotrys hexapetalus. The sterm of A.hexapetalus were purified by means of silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20,preparative thin layer chromatography and recrystallization and semi preparative HPLC separation method, using physical and chemical properties and NMR,MS,IR,UV,such as X-ray and CD spectroscopy technology, and combined with chemical method,Thirty compounds(1–30)were isolated and puried from the sterm of the A.hexapetalus, including 2 new compounds, involving six types alkaloids.Include Proaporphine(3),Oxoaporphine(4),Aporphine(10),Benzylisoquinoline(7),Protoberberine(4),Morphinandienone(2).Compounds 1and 2 were new compounds,Compounds 3,4,6,7,11,13,15,17,25,26,28-30 were isolated from the Artabotrys genus for the first time. All compounds were isolated from Ficus auriculata Lour for the first time. The biological assayes including cytotoxic activity antibacterial activity were used to find active compounds.Compound 3 exhibited cytotoxic activity against A549 cell lines.Compounds 3,5,16,19-21,23 exhibited a broad spectrum antibacterial activities.
