Low-temperature plasma carburizing technology can be used to realize the case-hardening and increase the surface hardness and corrosion resistance of austenic stainless steel without decreasing or even greatly improving its corrosion resistance.The research uses 201 austenitic stainless steel.The exploratory experience found that the low-temperature plasma carburizing technology can improve the surface property,complete austenitic stainless steel surface hardening process.Through the experiments,the results show that carburizing gas plays an important role during carburizing process.Contrast experimental results using CH4 and C2H2,the property used C2H2 is better than CH4.Based on the process optimization,the low-temperature plasma carburizing of austenitic stainless steel processing technology has been used for ferrule of the surface hardening treatment,improve the hardness of the surface without reducing its corrosion resistance and plasticity.It proves that it is feasible to treat the ferrule with low-temperature plasma carburizing treatment technology.In addition,new optimization process applied in the field of surface engineering will greatly promote the development of industrial application of low-temperature plasma carburizing process.
