With the advancement of technology,various household appliances into millions of families to bring convenience to people's production and life.However,the electromagnetic radiation will impact the normal metabolism of the body's cells,so that the incidence rates of cancer may be increased.To deal with these problems,scientists have invented electroless plating on the textile fibers to achieve the effect of electromagnetic radiation shielding.Unfortunately,the coating is often uneven and the resistance value is large,due to the lack of research on electroless plating,coating growth on the fibers surface and the component of plating bath.So study on the electroless plating process and the plating solution component,has an important significance for improving the uniformity of the coating.This article focus on the fiber sensitization,coating growth process and the component of electroless plating bath.X-ray diffraction?XRD?,Attenuated total reflection fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy?ATR-FTIR?,Field emission scanning electron microscope?FESEM?and multimer were used to characterize the sensitized mechanism,coating growth of nylon-6.The conclusions were obtained as follows:?1?After determination the sensitized surface groups and elements,it was found the amide characteristic absorption peaks has a blue shift from 1600cm-1to 1610cm-1 dues to inductive effect.At the same time the Sn4+ has been detected via XPS.However,the Sn4+can cause induction effect as an electron withdrawing group.After triethanolamine treatment,restored silver can not be adhered to the surface of fiber in the subsequent electroless plating process,so that indicated 4+ on the surface was???Sn?OH?2.By FESEM we can observe the morphology of silver coating growth process.The restored silver deposited on fiber surface directly to form the self-catalytic center.?2?In the type of C1,C2,C3andC4 system,only C3 system which can make the resistance value reduced to the minimum.In the pH value of 9.75,the C3 optimal added in an amount of 0.86 g/L,conditions of 30?,we can get the minimum resistance value 75?/10cm.The relationship between time and resistance,fiber resistance and concentration of silver in the initial 30min range,as time increases,there will be a significant decline.After 30 min,the decline of fiber resistance and concentration of silver became much smaller.Until 50 min,the resistance value is almost no change indicates that the concentrations of silver ions in solution approaches 0.?3?Through the heat treatment process,it was obtained the optimum heat treatment temperature and time.In the three stages of the heat treatment,the first and second stage temperature is 80 ?,the third stage is 70 ? The optimum heat-treating time of the first stage is 20min,a second stage for 25min and 10min for third stage.After heat treatment,the resistance value of the silver-plated fibers can be reduced from the original 75?/10cm to 55?/10cm.XRD spectrum shows the?111?,?220?,?311?diffraction peak intensity has increased,the half width of the peak became larger,but the average grain size became smaller.
