Transformation Of Dissolved Organic Matter In Municipal Wastewater Treatment Processes

Dissolved organic matter(DOM)is an important part of city sewage,and also constitute the main water potential threat.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the chemical characteristics of organic matter in city sewage and it's transformation in wastewater treatment process.In this paper,the distribution,aromaticity,specific trihalomethane formation potential(STHMFP)and fluorescence of DOM in the Wastewater from Beibu Wastewater Treatment Plant of Shenyang(A/O process),Beikong Wastewater treatment plant(A2/O process)of Jinzhou,Xiannvhe Wastewater treatment plant(aerated biofilter process)and Shenshuiwan Wastewater treatment plant(suspended carrier activated sludge process)of Shenyang were examined.According to the different changes in biological treatment process,infer the different effects between 4 treatment processes on the DOM property changes.The removal efficiency can be sorted into:Xiannvhe Wastewater treatment plant>Shenshuiwan Wastewater treatment plant>Jinzhou beikong Wastewater treatment plant>Shenyang beibu Wastewater treatment plant.Effects of different treatment on aromatic changes showed that:the aromatic properties of HPO-A and TPI-A of Jinzhou beikong Wastewater treatment plant and aromatic properties of HPO-N,TPI-N and HPI of Xiannvhe Wastewater treatment plant increased the most obviously.In two kinds of activated sludge process,The THMFP of DOM is more higher in the secondary effluent from A~2/O process;in two kinds of biofilm process,The THMFP of DOM is more hiager in the secondary effluent from suspended carrier activated sludge process.For removing fluorescent dissolved organic matter,all of 4 biological treatment process has certain effect,but the removal ability of the different fluorescent substances in different components is not the same.
