Research On The Effect Of Bio-flocculant To Aerobic Granular Sludge

Aerobic granular sludge is self-aggregated bio-particles by microorganisms under certain conditions which has compact structure,good settling ability and perfect biological activity.It has the advantage of abundant biomass,good setting performance,stronger ability of anti shock loading and removal of nitrogen and phosphorus,so it is becoming a hot topic in the research of biological wastewater treatment technology.In this paper,the aerobic granular sludge is cultivated through sequencing batch air-lift reactor(SBAR)and the best addition methods of bio-flocculant and its influence on the quantity of aerobic granular sludge are discussed.The dynamic equation of aerobic granular sludge planted with bio-flocculant is studied.The results showed that The aerobic sludge can be cultivated at bio-flocculant quantity in 0-5ml,the best quantity was 10ml/L,and SVI was around 34ml/g,the polysaccharide in EPS was keeping at around 17mg/g,the protein from the initial 32.7mg/g increased to 107.1 mg/g,the ratio of Protein than polysaccharide increased from the initial 2.12 to 6.22,increase of about 3-fold;Sludge hydrophobic properties increased from the initial 40%to about 86%,increase of about 2-fold.Based on that research,Does not change the total amount of the bio-flocculant,the methods of adds bio-flocculant,the result was once3d.In this case the aerobic granules could be successfully cultivated,and SVI was around 35.2 ml/g,the polysaccharide in EPS was keeping at around 17mg/g,the protein from the initial 32.5mg/g increased to 112.5 mg/g,the ratio of Protein than polysaccharide increased from the initial 2.14 to 6.54,increase of about 3-fold;Sludge hydrophobic properties increased from the initial 42%to about 86.3%,increase of about 2-fold.The aerobic granular which added the bio-flocculant(R3)and the aerobic granular which did not added the bio-flocculant(R1)was juxtaposed at the degraded namic.the dynamics equations,of tow kinds of aerobic granules were as follows:The dynamics equations of The aerobic granular which added the bio-flocculant:VR3=0.1557SCOD/(196.3877+SCOD),The dynamics equations of The aerobic granular which din not add the bio-flocculant:VRi=0.1244SCOD/(68.8024+SCOD).It was showed that aerobic granules which added flocculant bacterium had higher organic compound removal efficiency.
