As a part of the safety parts of auto,wheel hub has an important role in the hub equipment.Vehicle wheel hub is mainly used not only to withstand the weight of the entire body and automotive load,but also to withstand the changes due to traffic complex alternating stress brought about its quality and reliability for safe driving of the vehicle is of great importance.Half-closed forging process pre-forging-final forging process.The pre-forging and final-forging process were simulated,the mold design and molding process parameters were optimized,to solve the basic problem of folding and filling fully satisfied.The forming simulation software DEFORM was used to simulate finish forging the final forging load and the amount of wear on the core indicators of income for the initial analysis of the results for blank temperature,mold preheat temperature,the mold core mold hardness,through the use of orthogonal test plan,optimization of the mold structure,use forming simulation software DEFORM,respectively,from the pre-forging a chamfer on the mandrel,pre-forging die lower die height,blocker on core chamfer 2,final forging burr chamfered lower punch,final forging chamfer on five core analyzes wheel pre-forging dies,the final amount of wear die forging and shaping influence of the load size.Overall balance method using visual analysis of orthogonal axes round analog multi-index test results,maximum forming force and the amount of wear for two indicators to identify single index factors,five factors were obtained.Die stress was considered as an important factor research die life.Die stress was analysed,the stress distribution of the mold surface was obtained to provide effective reference for the analysis of die failure.In the production process,the mold life to be further optimized and improved.Find and optimize the main factors affecting die failure to improve the final forging die life.Through this study,it's a reference to the similar shaft for production and product ribbed shaft die designing.
