Oyster is a famous seafood in China.It is the first edible and pharmaceutical resources,which is issued by Ministry of Health.After the meat of Oyster is consumed,a large amount of oyster shell is discarded as garbage that not only takes large amounts of beaches and land resources but also has adverse effect for the ecological environment.Prismatic layer which is the main portion of the oyster shell has a large number of 2-10?m micro holes,the lamellar structured layer provides advantageous material foundation for its absorbability.To reduce the pollution of the oyster shell and make a better use of its adsorption capacity,in this research,we use ostrea rivularis as raw material,crushing oyster shell powder into different size by Physical crushing method,researching the characters of the powders.On the basis of this,we research its improvement effect on the quality of frying palm oil and the correlative thermodynamics and kinetic parameters for adsorption of oleic acid on oyster shell powder.The main research results are as follows:1.After the oyster shell was made into 5 different size of powders(40M,80M,200M,300M)by ultrafine technology,we study on its powder properties,such as SEM images,surface area,fillibility,fluidity,solubility,dispersibility and hygroscopicity etc.The results showed that the smaller particle dimension,the bigger its surface area,water and oil holding capacity,solution rate and absorption rate,and the lower its bulk density,tap density and fluidity.2.The optimum conditions for frying palm oil onto Oyster shell powder is:adding amount of Oyster shell powder:3%;adsorption time:122.25 min;rotation speed:140r/min.In this condition,the acid value of frying palm oil is 4.42.3.The property of frying palm oil got certain degree of improvement after the adsorption treatment by Oyster shell powder(300M).All the acid value,carbonyl value,saponification value,and viscosity of frying palm oil decreased,the tincture became clear,the smell of rancidity reduced and transmittance increased.The adsorption of Oyster shell powder effectively reduced the rate of deterioration of frying palm oil and extended the usage period.Compared to conventional adsorbent,like activated carbon,diatomite and silica gel,oyster shell powder shows good absorbability,and it is advantaged as easy obtaining,low cost,easy processing and turning waste into treasure.4.Through drawing adsorption isotherm,make linear fitting for Langmuir and Freunlich isothermal adsorption equation.The results indicate that the Langmuir model fitting is more accuracy,the adsorption process tends be monolayer.In Freunlich model,the index of equation value n is greater than 1 indicates it is an optimal adsorption.We can get the adsorption heat after calculating Clausius-Clapeyron equation,and the results show that the adsorption reaction of oleic acid onto oyster shell powder is an endothermic process and the adsorption reaction needs low heat,the process belongs to physical adsorption.The pseudo-second-order kinetics equations of different concentrations are as follows:(?)...
