Polymer based damping materials can control the vibration and noise of all kinds of machinery and equipment in the working process effectively in order to reduce the influence on people's lives,having drawn much attention in recent years.In this paper,the Semi-IPN modification of acrylate polymer and organic hybrid modification of oligomeric phenolic and oligomeric Amine were studied.For the Semi-IPN system,the Semi-IPN of NBR/P(MMA-BA)was prepared by using in-situ copolymerization method in the nitrile rubber solutions.The influence of monomer ratio and the feed ratio between the monomer and NBR on the Semi-IPNs,damping properties has been carried out.The Semi-IPN has been characterized by DMA,FT-IR,TGA/DTG and SEM.For the oligomeric phenols,oligomeric amine hybrid polymer systems,the damping properties of polyacrylate/bisphenol A-formaldehyde resin,polyacrylate/phenolic resin and polyacrylate/aniline formaldehyde resin hybrid materials has been discussed.In addition,the damping effect of the linear of different molecular weight BPAN on the acrylic rubber by changing the proportion of bisphenol A and formaldehyde has been researched.It was found that the forced compatibility of Semi-IPN improved the damping properties of raw rubber matrix significantly.A damping platform with tan ?>0.45 has been observed in the temperature range from-30 ? to 80 ? when the feed ratio of 2 wt%crosslinking agent,MMA/BA was 40/60,NBR/P(BA-MMA)was 60/40,in which the damping effect was better than double roll blending system.Furthermore,the thermal stability,the smooth microstructure and the mechanical properties of Semi-IPNs were improved testified by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA/DTG),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and tensile mechanical properties.It was also found that there were hydrogen bond between the phenolic hydroxyl of BP AN,PF and the polar carbonyl on the AR substrate.The tan? value of acrylic polymer was significantly increased and the loss peak position shifted to higher temperature direction with the increase of BP AN molecule weight.PF has broadened damping peak width,while AFC had little effect on damping properties.
