The most freqent used dye group in textile dying is azo dye.Textile dyes release to natural water resource affected on environment due to both unpleasant appearance and toxicity.Therefore the decolorization of azo dye is a challenge in wastewater treatment.Study in this thesis is to explore a kind of low cost,short reaction period,and high catalytic activity for the decolorization of azo dye.Methyl orange was selected as model study.The experimental results show that catalyst CuO/Al2O3 in the degradation of the methyl orange has catalytic performance.Under the reaction condition of 3 min?560W?air flow rate of 17.38 mL/s,and methyl orange initial concentration of 25 mg/L,the decolorization rate was 33.36%,under the same condition,we use alumina catalytic methyl orange,the decolorization rate was 4.23%.The composite catalyst CuO(3 wt%)-NiO(2 wt%)/Al2O3 or CuO(3 wt%)-Co3O4(2 wt%)/Al2O3 has good synergism for degradation of methyl orange with ozone.In this thesis,the effects of reaction conditions for degration of methyl orange were studied.Under the reaction condition of 3 min,560 W,and methyl orange 25 mg/L,the decolorization rate of methyl orange were over 98%with the synergy between catalyst and ozone.In addition,we studied the degradation of methyl orange in a continuous reaction device by ozone without catalyst.Experimental results show that the decolorization rate of methyl orange was 46.67%,under the condition that no microwave,reaction time is 10 min,concentration of ozone is 230 mg/L,concentration of methyl orange is 200 mg/L.
