Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon(PAHs)pollution is a pressing environmental issue in our country.The response of plant to PAHs stress has been studied extensively in recent years.However,environmental remediation and monitoring is a remedial measures of environmental management.How to predict the potential pollution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon,and to protect ecological safety,is much-needed scientific issues.With the rapid development of the theory and technology of molecular biology,biomarker studies as a new research field gradually attracted attention in the word.It has unique advantages in sensitive and accurate evaluation on early,potential and low level affection to individual life and the entire ecosystem.What's more,the k-TSP algorithm provided a new way to screen highly specific candidate biomarker gene.Early research found that there are 3 pairs of biomarker candidate genes:At5g24930 and At2g43590,At2g21330 and At5g66690,At5g65730 and At5g37690.They showed significant specificity under phenanthrene stress.Since plants can absorb low ring PAHs,accumulated and transport in plants,seriously endangering the safety of agricultural products.We found 6 homologous candidate genes:Os01g0620800,Os11g0171300,Os11g0539200,Os06g0257600,Os04g0497700 and os04g0494100 in South main food crops rice through the bioinformatics analysis for better early warning and monitoring of pollution.Fluorescence q-PCR analysis showed that,rice under NaCl,CdCl2,atrazine,glyphosate,phenanthrene stress,the expression of 6 candidate genes were inhibited,and the Os11g0539200 is most sensitive to phenanthrene stress.It was inhibited most obviously under the critical concentrations of phenanthrene stress.Os06g0257600 has up-regulated expression under the atrazine stress and phenanthrene stress.And Os11g0171300 have specific up-regulated expression under phenanthrene stress,so it can be a candidate biomark gene of rice under phenanthrene stress,this research laids the foundation for further soil study.
