Organic small molecular gels are kinds of important self-assembled materials, which have wide application prospects in the fields of stimulus response material, drug transport and environment. In order to get good gel properties and other performance,we have designed and synthesized some organic small molecule compounds in this paper. The work contains three parts as following:1.The compound A-1 was designed, synthesized and the gel's properties were tested. It is show that the interaction of?-?,hydrogen bond and van Edward force are the main driving forces in the formation of gel, according to the results of IR spectrum and variable concentrations ~1H NMR.The tests of SEM and XRD testify a good structure of A-1.It also has a good performance of liquid crystal from the POM and DSC tests.2.On the basis of compound A-1,compounds A-3 is designed and synthesized with the increase in the number of alkoxy chains to improve the Van derWaals Force. The compound A-3 has a good gelling performance from the minimum gelling concentration(MGCs)test and super gels can be formed in some solvents.Van derWaals Force is an important driving force for gelation compared with compound A-1.The fiber network structure as the SEM test showed is conducive to the confinement of solvent molecules. The results of IR and UV-Vis indicate that the?-?stacking and hydrogen bonding are the important driving force for gelation. In addition, the compound has a good response to F~?.Phase selective gelling test indecates that the application of gel factor A-3 in the sewage of nitrobenzene or aniline and water.3.The compounds B-1 and B-3 are synthesized by putting hydrazone groups on the methylene in the middle of two keto structure of compound A-1.It is unexpected discoveried that ultrasound can reduce MGCs of B-1.The gel and the xerogel formed in the ultrasonic state tested phase transition temperature and SEM respectively, which indicated that the ultrasound could only play an auxiliary role in the gel's formation. It is the hydrogen bond and?-?interaction are the important driving forces of gel formation from IR and anion testings. The gelation of B-1 has specific recognition for F~?and can be used to detect it by the naked eye according to the color change in the process.
