Metal-organic Frameworks?MOFs?,which possess large surface area,tunable pore size and chemical tenability,have received great attention from academia and industry alike on account of their potential applications in gas adsorption and separa-tion,luminescent sensing,catalysis,nonlinear optics,magnetic applications,and so on.As is well-known,Fe3+ions is one of the most essential elements for humans because it can influence electron transfer and oxygen metabolism processes in DNA and RNA synthesis.However,Fe3+ion is also a common inorganic pollutant.Excessive Fe3+in drinking water could result in a number of problems related to human health,such as hepatic cirrhosis and hereditary hemochromatosis.Besides,the environment and en-ergy problems are currently hot issues concerning the world.In recent years,the dra-matic increasing level of greenhouse gases is one of the greatest environmental con-cerns facing our civilization.Therefore,the development of rapid and effective mate-rials for detection of trace amounts of Fe3+and adsorption of CO2 is highly desirable.In this thesis,by using solvothermal method,we have successfully synthesized two coordination polymers and one micro-crystal materials based on different kinds of organic ligands and metal sources.According to analysis of the structures,we inves-tigated their properties for metal ions detection and CO2 adsorption.The main achievements are mainly focus on the following aspects:1.Compound 1?Cd-CTBA?is a two-dimensional skeleton material with a4-connected sql network topology.Besides,A luminescent 3D MOF,?[CdL?H2O?]·DMF·1.5H2O,compound 2,Cd-CMPCA?,has been successfully syn-thesized and structurally characterized.The overall structure of compound 2 contains hexagonal channels and is constructed by simple helical SBUs with etb topology.In-teresting,the compound exhibits good fluorescence intensity in DMF and can be quenched by trace amounts of Fe3+ions.The Ksv values of compound 2 towards Fe3+can reach up to 3.5×104 which surpasses many MOFs materials.Additionally,it also displays highly effective detection of picric acid through fluorescence quenching.These properties demonstrate that compound 2 is a potential luminescence sensor which can be potentially applied in monitoring contaminant.Compound 3 is a ze-ro-dimensional framework material with binuclear copper clusters.Compound 4 is a three-dimensional MOF material with high porosity and stable structure.2.By using solvothermal method,a micro crystal Ga-soc-MOF material was synthesized,which shows octahedron morphology with a particle size of 3-5?m.Thermal gravimetric analysis and thermal XRD measurements show that Ga-soc-MOF can be stable up to about 350 oC.The N2 sorption experiment indicates that the material owns permanent porosity.The amount of CO2 uptake for Ga-soc-MOF is 79 and 59.9 cm3 g-1 at 273 and 298 K under 1 bar,respectively.It demonstrates that Ga-soc-MOF can be an effective material for capture greenhouse gases.
