The area of hypervalent iodine chemistry especially trivalent iodine chemistry has caught attention in the field of mordern synthetic organic chemistry.These hypervalent iodine reagents have been widely used in the area of modern organic synthesis for they have showed good chemical reaction properties in many reactions in the last few years.The iodine ylide intermediates is vital research field in trivalent iodine chemistry,which not only can be used as an intermediates in reactions but also directly as a substrate that can transform into structure fragments of a varity of pharmacological activities molecular.The transition metal palladium catalytic C-H bonds functionalization is a very important kind of reaction,which has many advantages such as supernal atom economy,high catalytic efficiency,widely universality and great actual application,etc.For example,the metal palladium catalytic C-H bond activation functionalization can be used to build C-X(X = C?N?O?F,etc.)bonds,which has excellent application prospects.We can build these polycyclic compounds by combining hypervalent iodine and metal palladium catalytic C-H bond activation in this article and the main research contents is as follows:A certain electron-withdrawing group as well as containing hydroxy aromatic compounds,such as phenol compounds?4-hydroxycoumarin compounds?4-hydroxypyridine compounds?4-quinolinol compounds etc,which could be oxidized to the corresponding intermediates of diaryliodonium salts by generating trivalent iodine in situ or use of trivalent iodine reagents directly from the simple and accessible iodine benzene compounds.Under the condition of heating,these intermediates can quickly rearrangement to give the aryl iodides,which leads to cyclization product via transition metal palladium catalytic C-H bond activation cyclization reaction.We don't need to make any separation and purification of the reaction intermediates in the whole reaction process and we can quick and easy to synthesize polycyclic compounds that containing nitrogen,oxygen and other heteroatoms by using the method of "one pot,two steps".These compounds have been shown to possess excellent pharmacological activities,such as antibacterial?antioxygenation?anticancer,etc.Therefore synthesize these polycyclic compounds have important value and significance by using this way.
