Just for the circulation fan impeller early failure problem of CDQ(Coking Dry Quenching),the paper mainly analyzes and studies wear failure and the anti-wear improvement of 16Mn-material fan impeller.According to the data collected from the scene,through the observation of wear failure of the impeller,the influencing factors are analyzed about the impeller wear starting with operation condition,combined with theoretical analysis,to study wear mechanism of blade,and from the microscopic view,to analyze the trajectories and applying wear process from coke powder particle in the gas-solid two phase flow.Thus,it is concluded that the main wear form is abrasive wear,and mainly wear area occurred in maximized diameter of blades and their roots connected with the central disk.Under the existing conditions,based on the nature of the 16Mn-material circulation fan impeller,and applying the relationship between the material hardness and abrasive hardness,the study is focused on improving the hardness of the impacted material.Considering the cost of spare parts and repair efficiency,the topic selects more common "surfacing welding method" to modify the surface of impeller.After analyzing the chemical composition and the mechanical properties of 16Mn-material fan impeller,reference from the past failure experience,the traditional fan special wear-resistant electrodes have can't stop the early failure of the impeller.Take repairing the circulation fan impeller of Bayi iron and steel Co,.Ltd.coking plant,choosing new wear-resisting welding materials-----Kasterin-electrode and Leigong900 welding wire,and processing the wear area of blade surface by double stacking welding,using C02 semi-automatic gas shielded welding technology advantage,primly remedy the defect of partial easily being frayed with the 16Mn-material impeller from the point of view of material science.Conducting a physical wear test with the improved Impeller,the result shows that,under the actual operating conditions,that is to say,working in the smoke concentration 10 to 20 times more than design's(design value:100 mg/m3,actual value:1500-2000 mg/m3),the service life of the fan impeller is extended from less 2 years to 5-year design life,even longer.Through calculation,the improvement methods will bring remarkable economic and social benefits for the enterprise and society,and provide certain reference for the same industry in terms of fan impeller Anti-wear improvement and optimize design.
