Ozone is an allotrope of oxygen,it is a green oxidant with strong properties of oxidizing and bactericidal,and now it is used in many diverse fields such as water treatment,air purification,medical pharmaceutical,food processing,textile bleaching and SO on.There are several ways to generate ozone,such as ultraviolet radiation,electrolysis and dielectric barrier discharge.Among them the dielectric barrier discharge method has low energy consumption,large ozone production and enough gas source,is becoming the main method of production of ozone in the industry.Although DBD-type ozone generators are now being used or reported in the industry,they are similar in structure.It is mainly composed of air supply system,cooling system,discharge unit(including electrode and dielectric)and power system and other parts.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces the basic structure and reaction mechanism of the ozone generator discharge unit,and obtains the parameters that affect the gas discharge characteristics.The simulation model was studied based on Ansoft Maxwell software in this paper.The effect of the discharge characteristics on different factors,such as the material and thickness of dielectric barrier,the discharge gap,the shape of exciting electrodes and the exciting voltage were studied.The simulation results show that if the greater dielectric constant of dielectric barrier material was chosen,and the larger field strength would be easy to obtain.Correspondingly,to select the thinner dielectric barrier material can obtain the more field strength easily,and to design the smaller discharge gap can be propitious to enhance the field strength and improve the uniformity of discharge.To choose the round exciting electrodes can get more field strength than the square exciting electrodes.Secondly,the principle of the basic switching power supply circuit is analyzed,and the ozone generator is a capacitive load by the equivalent circuit of the ozone generator.For the circuit with capacitive load,compensation inductance can be added to the circuit to make the circuit work in a resonant state under.After analyzing the series resonant circuit and the parallel resonant circuit separately,this paper selects the series resonant circuit.Taking into account the ozone generator in the course of the operation according to the actual situation of ozone production and concentration adjustment,if the power supply from the point of view,that is,the power output power(discharge power)to adjust and control.In this paper,by comparing the different control modes of the inverter power supply,the control mode of the phase shift PWM is determined.Finally,this paper also calculates and sets the parameters of the discharge unit of the dielectric barrier type ozone generator,the main circuit of the inverter power supply and its control circuit,and uses the Altium Designer software to draw the schematic diagram of each module of the power supply system and the drawing of the PCB board.
