Under hydrothermal condition,a new Keggin type polyoxometalates,CuSiW12 was prepared,and its structure was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction.Then pyrrole?Py?was loaded on CuSiW12 surface through a facile in situ chemical oxidation polymerization process,and its composite material with polypyrrole is synthesized.Their morphologies were characterized by scanning electron microscope?SEM?,The structures and morphologies of CuSiW12 and its composite material with ppy were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction?XRD?and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy?FTIR?.Their photooptical response range are studied by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy?DRS?.DRS shows that these CuSiW12 exhibit a strong photoresponse in the UV light regions.But in visible light regions its photoresponse is very weak.On the contrary the composite material exhibits a strong photoresponse in the uv and visible light regions.Photocatalytic shows that CuSiW12 exhibits no effect on the decomposition of RhB,because it is an ultraviolet light active photocatalyst.On the contrary,PPy/CuSiW12 showed superior ability of photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B than POM.Then under hydrothermal condition,a new Standberg type polyoxometalates,ZnP2Mo5 was prepared.Its structure was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction.With solvothermal method,we successfully prepared the ZnP2Mo5NR.A new type of composite material PPy/ZnP2Mo5NR was fabricated by the combination of ZnP2Mo5NR and pyrrole via a facile in situ chemical oxidation polymerization process.DRS shows that the composite material exhibits a strong photoresponse in the visible light regions,while the ZnP2Mo5NR exhibits a strong photoresponse only in UV light region,in the visible light regions is very weak.Under the irradiation of visible light,the PPy/ZnP2Mo5NR composite material exhibited inproved photocatalytic activity than ZnP2Mo5NR,PPy and their mechanically blended productsb on the degradation of Rhodamine B?RhB?.The results accord with UV-VIS diffuse reflection spectroscopy result.
