Organic/inorganic hybrid photoelectric functional materials constructed from inorganic moeities bridged by organic ligands have extensive applications in photoelectric conversion,photoelectrochromic,molecular switches and so on.In order to realize novel photoelectric response,the rational design of photoelectric function organic molecules has become the key factor.At present,the study of hybrid materials based on photoelectric functional organic molecules is still in its infancy.As a result,carrying out the synthesis and property characterizations of such compounds are important,and have great theoretical significance in developing novel photoelectric functional materials.In view of this feather,our paper have introduced viologen and squaric acid molecules with photoelectric functional into hybrids,which incorporate with transition metals,alkaline earth metals and IVA germanium,and prepared 12 novel organic/inorganic hybrid molecules.Among whcih eight compounds contain squaric acid,another four compounds are germanium-iodide/viologen hybrids.In eight square acid hybrid molecules,metal/square acid(compound 5.6),which only square acid bulid,framework is three-dimension.When the introduction of bidentate componds(4,4'-bipy-N,N'-dioxide),the structure reduced to two-dimension(compound 3).When introducing mono-coordination compounds(pyridine),the strutruce reduced to one-dimension(compound 7?8).When introducing the no-coordinaton compounds(viologen),the structure reduced to zero-dimension.This provides theoretical guidance for cutting diffirent structure compound.In addition,compound 12(Ge2I6)n2n-chain have been reported for the first time.In particular,compound 1-4 introduce firstly viologen and squaric acid organic molecules into the same hybrid system simultaneously.Most of them exist in rich non-covalent effect(hydrogen bonding and ?-? accumulation).In this paper,all compounds were characterized by 1R,UV-Vis spectrum.Meanwhile,the properties of photocatalytic degradation,photocurrent,and thermochromism have been discussed.Especially,photocurrent phenomenon on compound 1?2?6 and 7 have been observed,among which compound 7 exhibits the the strongest photocurrent intensity of 1.0×10-6 A.Besides,squaric acid-bades compounds exhibit photoelectric conversion performances.Specially,compound 1 and 2 have reversible thermochromism behaviors,whose discoloration temperatures are 150° and 1300°,and we attributed the cause of color change to the charge transfer further.So,we can realize multi-functional materials after introduce square acid and viologen into the same hybrid system.Our work can provide experimental and theoretical basis for design,synthesis the photoelectric conversion and chromismic materials.
