The coordination compound refers to a group of substances in which the central metal ion and the surrounding organic ligand are combined through coordination bonds. In recent years, complexes have not only exhibited their diverse structural features and unique properties, but also exhibited extraordinary optical, electrical and magnetic effects. In addition, they have shown potential applications in sensors, gas adsorption and storage, catalysis, separation of small molecules, and biopharmaceuticals, etc.Consequently, they have gradually become one of the functional materials that have attracted extensive attention from many disciplines such as chemistry, physics, and materials. For the synthesis of new complexes, this paper uses solvothermal synthesis method to carry out relevant work from the following aspects.1.Solvothermal synthesis and visible photocatalysis of a gigantic polyoxozirconateWe present a gigantic POZ of(Zr18O21(?2-OH)2(OOCPh)28)(POZr18),involving 6,7 and 8-coordinated Zr atoms. The {Zr18} skeleton can be disintegrated into four{Zr5(Zr)} pentagons. The {Zr5(Zr)} pentagon identified in POZr18,however,has not been found in other reported POZ family so far.It could be a new type of building unit to construct large and novel POZ clusters. What is more,POZr18 represented the largest and the first visible-active polyoxozirconate so far.POZr18 displayed photocatalytic activity towards H2 production under visible light irradiation. In spite of the moderate photocatalytic activity, this work may pave a way to explore polyoxozirconates as a new type of visible-active photocatalyst.2.One-step solvothermal synthesis of magnetic and porous Ni@MOF-74(Ni)composite,and the application in dye adsorptionWe report a one-pot solvothermal method for synthesis of magnetic and porous Ni@MOF-74(Ni)[Ni2(DOBDC),DOBDC = 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalate]composite without any pretreatment,in which metal Ni not only acts as core component, but also provides Ni2+ for the formation of MOF-74(Ni).To the best of our knowledge,no such one-pot synthesis of magnetic NP@MOF composite has been reported yet.As-prepared Ni@MOF-74(Ni)composite exhibited both magnetic characteristic and high porosity, making it applicable as efficient adsorbent for removal of organic pollutants,e.g.RhB dye(rhodamine b).Furthermore, the magnetism of Ni@MOF-74(Ni)makes separate and recycle easily. This kind of magnetic and porous NP@MOF composite exhibits potential application for targeted drug delivery.3.Solvothermal synthesis of[Fe(1,10-phen)3][PbxIy]n,and the solvent-induced structure transformation of PbxIyn-anionThree novel polymeric iodiplumbate compounds,[Fe(1,10-phen)3][PbI4]·DMF(1)(1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthrolinium),[Fe(1,10-phen)3][Pb3I9]·2H2O(2),[Fe(1,10-phen)3][Pb2I6]·3DMF(4)and one known compound[Fe(1,10-phen)3][Pb3I8](3),which were with[Fe(1,10-phen)3]n+ as template have been designed and synthesized solvothermally and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It is interesting that compound(1)can transformed to be compound(2)after immersed in CH3CH2OH or CH3CN,then continue transformed to be(3),however,when immersed in DMF,compound(1),(2),(3)can transformed to be compound(4),noted that compound(4)can convert back to be(3)reversibly with the presence of CH3CH2OH.
