Metal-organic frameworks are 3-D network porous polymer with periodic structure which composed of metal ions or metal ion clusters and organic ligands through self-assembly.This porous polymer has excellent properties such as high specific surface area, tunable structure and pore size, high thermal and chemical stability.Because of these properties,MOF materials have good prospects in separation, catalysis, gas adsorption and separation, drug release and sensing.Although more efforts have been devoting to explore excellent applications,morphology-controlled growth is still a topic that can not be overlooked, and considerable works have been constantly carried out.MOF-5 is one of the most extensively studied MOF materials which people have been researching hardly.Although there are reports about morphology and size control of MOF-5 material,it is difficult to obtain high-quality nano-MOF crystals with unifrom sizes.Herein,we described a an surfactant/base co-modulation strategy to synthesize different morphologies and sizes of MOF-5 cryst als.On this basis,we replaced the metal of IRMOF-1 crystals which indicate the prosbility of metal-substituted sheet MOF-5 material. And this work provided the basis of the lewis acid catalysis of the sheet crystals. The specific works are as follows:?1?On the basis of solvothermal method,we successfully synthesized sheet-like crystals. We chose zinc acetate as the zinc ion source.Changing the synthesis conditions?temperature, reactant concentration, molar ratio of zinc ion to terephthalic acid, time, concentration of surfactant PVP?one by one to explore the effects of different experimental conditions on the morphology and crystallinity of the IRMOF-1 crystals.?2?We chose the zinc nitrate as the zinc ion source instead of the zinc acetate and synthesized MOF-5 crystals with different morphologies and sizes. With the aid of the surfactant PVP and triethylamine, the effect of each reaction condition on the morphology and size of MOF-5 crystals was explored.?3?The IRMOF-1 material with catalytically active metal ions was obtained by postsynthetic ion metathesis?PSIM?.The IRMOF-1 crystal with a sheet-like morphology was metal-substituted to replace the metal ion Zn2+ in the IRMOF-1 crystal with Co2+ and Mn2+ ions.
