CoordinationPolymers?CPs?/Metal-organicFrameworks?MOFs?,whichare self-assembled by coordination bonds between metal ions,metal-ion clusters or SBUs and organic bridging ligands forming a infinite extension 1D/2D/3D crystalline structure.Owing to versatile topological features of these materials,they have great application value in many fields,such as gas storage/separation,heterogeneous catalysis,molecular recognition,nonlinear optics,electricity,magnetism and so on.In this paper,we choose this ligand-4-?1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl?isophthalic acid to experiment.Fortunately,eleven CPs were synthesized by hydrothermal method successfully:[Ln?L??HL??H2O?2]?1-4??Ln=Tb?1?,Eu?2?,Dy?3?andSm?4??,[Zn?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??5?,[Cd?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??6?,[Zn?L??H2O?]·H2O?7?,[Zn?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??8?,[Pb?L??H2O?]?9?,[Ni?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??10?,[Co?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??11?,[Co2L2?H2O?2]·3?H2O??12?,[Mn?HL?2?H2O?2]·2?H2O??13?,[Mn?L??H2O?]?14?.Then we characterized and tested the properties of these compounds,such as X-ray single diffraction analysis,thermos-gravimetric analysis?TGA?,X-ray diffraction analysis?PXRD?,luminescence and magnetic susceptibility measurements.And there are five chapters in this paper:In chapter 1,which introduces history,development,and applications of coordination polymers,and the significance of this thesis is elaborated in detal.In chapter 2,which contains four new water-stable lanthanide compounds 1-4.The luminescent properties of 1 in aqueous solution and different cationic solution and small organic solvents have been explored in detail under the ultraviolet irradiation at room temperature.The high quenching constant KSVvalues and low detection limits indicate that 1exhibits extremely high detection sensitivity and selectivity towards Fe3+ions and nitrobenzene.In addition,the magnetic studies show that antiferromagnetic exchange interactions exist between the Dy?III?ions in 3.In chapter 3,five novel compounds with different dimensions were constructed by H2L ligand and Zn?II?,Cd?II?,Pb?II?.The fluorescence properties of these compounds were analyzed and studied.Compared with the fluorescence emission peak of the ligand,the fluorescence emission peaks of 5-7 have blue shifts,which can be attributed to the energy transfer from ligand to central metal ions?LMCT?.However,the luminescence behavior of complex 8 and 9 are similar to that of free ligand,which may be due to the??*???or/and??*?n?of electron transition.In chapter 4,five compounds which were successful synthesized by H2L ligand and Ni?II?,Co?II?,Mn?II?.And the magnetic properties of these compounds were studied.There is a weak ferromagnetic interaction between metal ions in compound 10 and antiferromagnetic between metal ions in 11-14.
