The amorphous nanometer MoS3 was prepared and the products were analyzed.The results showed that the product distribution was homogeneous,the purity was high,the yield was large,the amorphous structure and the particle size were Nano-level.Hydrothermal method was used to prepare disulfide Molybdenum,and the effect of ratio,temperature and reaction time on the appearance of molybdenum disulfide was optimized by using single factor experimental conditions.The product was analyzed and the result was the appearance of micron flower ball and molecular MoOS2.In MQ-800 four ball long with SRV friction and wear testing machine to IV friction and wear experiments are conducted on the pe rformance of friction and lubrication research,commercial and industrial size MoS2 as lithium grease additives of lubricating properties are compared? The MoS2 of market size is provided by lanzhou compound and belongs to industrial grade 2H MoS2.Found in lithium grease system,amorphous nanometer MoS3 as additives can effectively improve the friction and lubrication properties of lithium base grease,amorphous nanometer MoS3 and MoOS2 as lithium grease additives of friction and lubrication performance is superior to ordinary MoS2 as lithium grease additives of friction and lubrication performance.Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the composition elements in the grinding spot,the non-crystalline nano-MoS3 can be used as the lubricating mechanism of lithium lubricating grease additive,and the results show that: In friction process African nanocrystals MoS3 with grease into the groove on the surface of the friction pair and grinding,physical and chemical adsorption film,deposited film,and chemical reaction under the condition of high temperature and high load friction generated MoS3,MoO3,MoS2,FeSO4 form organic compound with lithium grease lubrication film,in the three kinds of membrane under the joint action of amorphous nanometer MoS3 as lithium grease additives has a low friction coefficient,wear smaller spot diameter,and tribology capability of bearing capacity is bigger.The tribological mechanism of amorphous MoOS2 as an additive of lithium lubricating grease was obtained through the quantitative analysis of the microtopography and composition of the surface of the abrasion surface.The results showed that: MoOS2 particle repair surface can also been used with a lithium base grease spreading within the scratches on the surface of the friction pair increases the friction area,on the surface of the friction pair can be adsorbed on the surface friction pair is physical and chemical adsorption film block boundary membrane rupture promoted the wear resistant properties of lithium base grease,under the condition of high temperature and high load friction pair surface friction chemical reaction might generate molybdenum oxides chemical reaction film,so the amorphous MoOS2 as lithium grease additives has a low friction coefficient,wear rate smaller friction and lubrication performance.
