In this dissertation,the adsorption behavior of novel polydentate carboxylic acid ligand H4BCPIA on the graphite surface was observed.The effects of pyridine molecules containing different alkyl chains and common guest molecule COR on the self-assembly of H4BCPIA were studied.Three groups of compounds were selected and the adsorption behavior of the surface was studied by scanning tunneling microscopy(STM).The characteristics and rules of H4BCPIA in the host-guest structure were summarized.The main findings are as follows:(1)The self-assembly structure of H4BCPIA molecules on the surface of graphite by STM technology and the effect of the alkyl group-free pyridine molecule bpe on the self-assembly of H4BCPIA molecules were studied.In the heptanoic acid solvent,H4BCPIA molecules can form a ridge-like two-dimensional self-assembled structure via hydrogen bonding and Van der Waals forces.When an appropriate amount of bpe molecules is added,the H4BCPIA/bpe system can form a tetragonal network structure.(2)The effects of the OPV derivatives(OPV1,OPV2)containing different alkyl chains on the host-guest system self-assembly of H4BCPIA/OPVs were investigated.STM images show that H4BCPIA can be assembled into hexagonal network structure in H4BCPIA/OPVs system,but due to the presence of alkyl chain,the binding sites of OPV1 and OPV2 in the hexagonal grid are different.It is particularly pointed out that the H4BCPIA/OPV2 system can also form a ridge structure with a quadrangular cavity.These studies lay the foundation for the regulation of pyridine molecules on multidentate low-symmetry H4BCPIA molecules.(3)The effect of guest molecule COR on self-assembly of H4BCPIA/COR host-guest system was studied using STM technology.Experiments show that due to the addition of COR,the H4BCPIA self-assembly cavity changes from a quadrilateral to a larger area triangle.The orientation of H4BCPIA molecules also changes from the two opposite directions to the same direction.This structural change enables us to better understand the interactions between host and guest molecules and between molecules and substrates,and to build new ones to take advantage of the host-guest structure.The functional assembly provides support.
