Effect Of VSR On The Dimensional Stability Of Aluminum Alloy Thin-Walled Components | | Posted on:2019-12-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:G H Xiong | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2371330545467451 | Subject:(degree of mechanical engineering) | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The whole thin-walled component prepared by high strength aluminium alloy thick plate has the advantages of high light strength and high quality.Thin-walled components are often used in the production of large aircraft.However,a large number of residual stresses are introduced in the processing and surface treatment of such thin-walled parts,and the instability of the material has been greatly improved.In this paper,the experimental is studied on the VSR test of nonferrous metal structures.The effect of vibration aging process on the dimensional stability of 7075 aluminium alloy thin-walled components is expounded from two aspects of microcosmic and macro aspects.It contains the following aspects of the work:1)Analysis of stress relaxation effect of VSR process on aluminium alloy thin-walled componentsThe stress relaxation of the stress of the residual compressive stress or the peak stress layer will be caused by the action of vibration aging.There is an inevitable link between the reduction of residual stress and the size of the residual stress.The larger the surface stress is,the greater the effect of stress relaxation is.The experimental results show that VSR can effectively reduce the peak stress on the surface of 22%~32%.2)The mechanism of vibration aging is explained from the macroscopic and microscopic aspectsBased on the Basinger effect and dislocation theory,the macroscopic and microscopic mechanism of the residual stress reduction in vibration aging are summarized in this paper.Based on the creep theory,the relationship between vibration aging and cyclic creep in the nature of mechanics is proposed.Stress relaxation of materials is analyzed by XRD theory.VSR effectively improves the surface properties of the material,refines the grain,and improves the microhardness of the surface.This shows that the VSR process has a positive effect on the improvement of the surface properties of the material.3)The improvement of size stability of aluminium alloy thin-walled components under the action of VSRThe size of the shot peening parts is unstable mainly due to the incomplete and uneven plastic deformation of the surface of the material.The residual stress in the surface is effectively reduced by VSR.The inhomogeneous phenomenon of local deformation and the inhomogeneous local hardening degree formed before it are avoided.The experiment verified that the dimensional stability of the workpiece was improved after the VSR. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | VSR, Al alloy, thin-wall components, stress relaxation, dimensional stability | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
