With the rapid development of computer technology such as somatosensory,image processing and virtual reality,it has been widely applied in the field of traffic,such as traffic information service system and traffic management system.Not only that,it has been applied in the field of traffic safety education gradually,which makes the education of traffic safety develop to information and digitalization.In China,the pedestrian traffic accident rate is very high due to the large number of pedestrian traffic,the weak traffic safety awareness and the mixed traffic with vehicles.Besides,pedestrians are more vulnerable than other traffic participants.The problem of pedestrian traffic safety is a serious and outstanding issue that road traffic safety in our country faces now and in the future.However,the existing forms of traffic safety education in our country are single,lack of pertinence,lack of interactivity and lack of safe traffic environment for learning and practice.Pedestrian traffic safety education system based on somatosensory technology is constructed in this paper.The system uses Kinect to obtain user data information and uses 3ds Max to create a virtual road traffic environment.And the system uses the 3D interaction software Unity 3D as the basic platform for development to realize the connection with Kinect,3D scene rendering and scenario script control.The goal of pedestrian safety education is finally achieved.In this paper,the domestic and foreign related research were analyzed,and then make the needs analysis and system design about pedestrian traffic safety education system,and study the Kinect gesture recognition technology,user identification bones,virtual pedestrian pace control,pedestrian violations detected,virtual traffic safety education scene and three-dimensional display capabilities to build the key technologies.Through the pedestrian traffic safety education system based on somatosensory technology,adopt a gesture recognition method that more conforms to the natural interaction to operate,enhance the interest.Users can not only learn traffic laws and traffic safety knowledge in different scenarios,but also carry out accident experiences caused by traffic violations and unsafe behaviors.In the experience of traffic accidents,the intense experience of stereoscopic visual impact makes the users feel the danger brought by illegally and unsafey walking traffic behivior,thus reducing the number of pedestrian-related traffic accidents occur.The realization of this system will helps to raise the traffic safety awareness of pedestrians and change the traditional concept of traffic safety education and so as to improve the effect of traffic safety education.
