Tungsten resources are an important strategic resource.Because of its excellent performance,it is widely used in the preparation of high-tech new materials.But there are a large number of impurity elements in tungsten resources.Understanding how each impurity element influences the physicochemical properties of APT(ammonium paratungstate)prepared by traditional acid methods has more universal significance for the efficient utilization of tungsten resources and the control of the performance of APT and its processed products.In this project,four impurity elements(S,Si,Cu,and Mn)were selected as the research objects,and the content of impurity elements was expanded.APT was prepared by the traditional acid method.The morphologies of the APT samples were investigated by XRD,SEM,EDS,and ICP elemental characterization methods,as well as the grain morphology,grain size properties,and chemical composition.Experimental results show:After adding two kinds of non-metallic elements(S,Si),the crystallinity of APT powder was excellent.According to the national standard,the powder size was fine,and the powder passed through 250 mesh sieve.The particle size distribution test showed that after adding the impurity elements,The powder has a wider particle size distribution and no appreciable appearance.The chemical composition of the powder was measured by ICP.The content of each element reached the national standard APT-1.With the increasing of the amount of impurity elements,the crystal morphology did not change.Develop well and get the ideal crystal.After adding two kinds of metallic elements(Cu,Mn),the crystallinity of the prepared APT powder was reduced.According to the national standard,the powder particle size did not reach the fine grade,and all the powders did not pass the 250 mesh sieve and the appearance did not have obvious attachments.The particle size distribution test showed that the particle size distribution of the powder prepared after the addition of impurity elements was narrowed.The chemical composition of the powder was detected by ICP.The content of impurity elements exceeded the standardand did not meet the national standard APT-1.As the amount increased,the crystal morphology changed,the crystals were incompletely developed,and the surface attachments increased,which was not an ideal crystal.
