The development of low permeability reservoirs requires additional formation energy.Practice proved that most low permeability reservoirs have been in a dilemma of "hard to inject, hard to produce" when waterflooding. Therefore,EOR technology of CO2 flooding is considered to improve oil recovery efficiency and achieve effective oilfield development. In this paper, the geological characteristics, structural fracture characteristics and reservoir characteristics of SP block are studied.Through the thin tube experiment, the minimum miscible pressure and the change in crude oil components after getting gas in wells of SP block are measured.Through expansion test of formation oil injecting CO2,the variation of oil and gas ratio, volume coefficient, expansion coefficient, viscosity and density of formation oil after injecting CO2 is determined. Then the final recovery of water flooding and gas flooding is measured.Laboratory experiment results show that the block flooded by CO2 can achieve better development results.CO2 flooding has been applied to SP block, field application shows that this technology realizes the goal of effective utilization of reserves.
