In recent years,Bi and Ti compounds have attracted much attention because of their special properties and wide applications.In this thesis,bismuth oxycarbonate/multiwalled carbon nanotube((BiO)2CO3/MWCNTs)composites,bismuth oxycarbonate/y-ferric oxide((BiO)2CO3/?-Fe2O3)composites and sodium titanate(NaTi307)nanoparticles were prepared based on hydrolysis method.Their applications in dye adsorption removal were also studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)First,the bismuth nitrate and multiwalled carbon nanotubes were dissolved in N,N-dimethylformamide.Then,the solution was hydrolyzed by adding sodium hydroxide solution and the resulting precipitate was cleaned.Finally,the product was heat treated to prepare the new adsorbent of(Bi0)2C03/MWCNTs composite.In the adsorption test,the methyl orange(MO)was used as the model dye molecule.The effects of heat treatment temperature,solution pH,adsorption contact time and adsorption temperature on the adsorption process were investigated.The adsorption equilibrium isotherm,adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics were further analyzed,and the adsorption mechanism was proposed.(2)Fe304 nanorods were prepared firstly by hydrothermal synthesis.Then,the(BiO)2CO3 was loaded on the Fe3O4 nanorods to form the new adsorbent of(BiO)2CO3/Bi2O3/?-Fe2O3 nanocomposites.In the adsorption test,the MO was used as the model dye molecule.The effects of heat treatment temperature,adsorption contact time and adsorption temperature on the adsorption process were investigated.The adsorption equilibrium isotherm,adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics were further analyzed,and the adsorption mechanism was also discussed.(3)The titanium tetrachloride was hydrolyzed in a neutral conditionto obtain the new adsorbent of sodium titanate(NaTi307)nanomaterial.In the adsorption test,the methylene blue(MB)was used as the model dye molecule.The effects of heat treatment temperature,solution pH,MB dosage and adsorption contact time on the adsorption process were investigated.The adsorption equilibrium isotherm,adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics were analyzed,and the adsorption mechanism was also discussed.
