With the depletion of primary energy sources and the pollution of its combustion products to the environment,researchers in various countries have begun to study the development and utilization of new energy sources.Concentration battery is a device that can collect concentration potential energy difference to generate energy,but the strict sense of the concentration cell is more difficult to use,so the theoretical development of the concentration cell is slow,there are great deal of research space in terms of concentrated cell.This dissertation focuses on the traditional structure of the concentrated cell,refers to the structure of the thin film battery and the flexible battery to make the thin film,and prepares a small,lightweight,easy-to-carry concentration difference cell in thin films with its activation time controllable.Select the appropriate electrolyte,so that it can produce a higher open circuit voltage while ensuring that its aqueous solution resistance is small.The semipermeable membrane was studied to prepare a composite semipermeable membrane with different porosity so that the semipermeable membrane always maintains a high concentration ratio on both sides,thereby obtaining a dense cell with a higher output voltage.A variety of electrode materials were selected to analyze the influence of the electrode material on the discharge of the concentrated cell.Choosing the best composite semi-permeable membrane to assemble a concentration difference cell in thin films,and serially connecting multiple concentration difference cell in thin films to make the battery pack produce a higher output voltage.Results shows follow:1?The structure of the concentration difference cell in thin films is designed.Referring to the structure of the thin film battery and the flexible battery,a thin-film concentration cell is prepared.2?Select different molecular types of electrolyte and distilled water assembled into a concentration battery,20% X-405 generated the highest voltage value,10% BD300 followed by,but the conductivity of 10% BD300 solution is much larger than 20% X-405 solution,so the final choice BD300 serves as the electrolyte for the thick-film battery.3?Different types of non-swellable polymers(acrylic esters or polyurethanes)are formulated with a swelling polymer(polyvinyl alcohol),and different ratios are formulated to obtain semipermeable membranes with different porosities.Experiments show that the semi-permeable membrane prepared from the compound of acrylate or polyurethane and polyvinyl alcohol has the same conclusion.When the thickness is the same,the higher the PVA content is,the larger the pore of the semi-permeable membrane is;with same PVA content the thicker the semipermeable membrane,the larger the pores.4?The discharge process of the concentration difference cell in thin films was analyzed.The metal electrode was involved in the battery reaction to cause corrosion,and the inorganic non-metallic material was not affected.5?Two types of composite semipermeable membranes were used to assemble a concentration difference cell in thin films,and the open circuit voltages produced were compared.The generated open circuit voltage gradually increases from 0 to maximum and then gradually decreases.The open circuit voltage of the battery composed of PU/PVA composite semipermeable membrane is more significant than that of the PSA/PVA composite semipermeable membrane.After 56 hours,the open circuit voltage of the 3 series battery composed of PSA/PVA composite semipermeable membrane with PVA content of 6% was 395 m V;and after 28 hours,the composite of PU/PVA composite semipermeable membrane with the PVA content of 4% was formed.3 The open circuit voltage of the series battery pack is 330 m V.6?The PSA/PVA semi-permeable membrane with a PVA content of 6% was assembled into a number of series-connected concentration difference cell in thin films packs.As the number of series connections increased,the open-circuit voltage of the battery pack also gradually increased,and the number of series connections was 1,3,respectively.At 6,9,and 12,the open circuit voltages of the battery pack were 105 m V,395 m V,498 m V,728 m V,and 786 m V,respectively.The experimental results show that the PSA/PVA composite semi permeable membrane with the thickness of 300 m is assembled into the concentration difference cell in thin films with the BD300 electrolyte,which can be used as a kind of energy material to collect the density difference potential and obtain the continuous and high open circuit voltage.
