Keshen area belongs to the high field of oil and gas layer structure. It has very high economic value to develop except the complex geological conditions, deep buried target, high hardness of rock, salt paste layer and strata dip.All the practical problems are put forward higher requirements to drilling technology. All the drilling problem to solve in Keshen area focus on two points: "oblique prevention" and "ROP".these two difficulties are constrained by geological factors, therefore, from the perspective of technology, the traditional method of anti-inclination and to speed up in the region is clearly no longer apply. This article summarizes the geology of this region and various method to improve the ROP.For casing program design, the traditional design method and process of new design method are compared, including the advantages and disadvantages of this methods.Further more,a well bore structure is design based on the existing data of the well.More comparative analysis shows that this new design increases the levels of casing and casing size, extends the casing setting depth as far as possible, compared with the conventional design method. At the same time, this article analyses the reasons of the deviation and the corresponding control technology, elaborate the advantages and disadvantages of traditional anti-inclined tool and vertical well drilling system.A comparative analysis is demonstrated depending on the field experiment data to explain the advantage of vertical well drilling system. Finally,in view of bit type and the power of the bit, impregnated bit,turbo-drill and rotary impact drilling tool are introduced. Also A comparative analysis is demonstrated combining with the field data to confirm that impregnated bit and turbo-drill scheme can greatly indeed improve the rate of penetration.
