Liaohe oilfield has entered the late stage of oil reservoir exploitation,whose annual output can be stable but has shown a significant downward trend.As one of the main oil fields in liaohe oilfield,the reservoir in Shen 268 block is abundant.However,it is difficult to select a PDC bit because of the block's multiple layers and irregular stratigraphic distribution.The long open hole section,high friction torque,large pressure loss circulation,limited displacement,cause problems with carrying cuttings,make hole cleaning ability poor,and the hydraulic parameters need to be further optimized.In order to improve the drilling speed,it is necessary to solve the problems in drilling in the area and achieve the goal of fast drilling.In this paper,the technical difficulties encountered by drilling Shen268 block.Firstly,according to the block formation lithology characteristics through the theoretical research,PDC bit crown profile,blade,teeth were optimized.Secondly,based on the clean calculation model of horizontal well hole,the hydraulic parameters of the block are optimized.Finally,combining with the actual situation,formulatea set of block speed scheme,the overall analysis of Shen 268 block drilling speed,improvedrilling speed and shorten construction period.Through this research,in the aspect of engineering benefit,to provide technical guidance for improving the drilling speed,it is beneficial to shorten the drilling cycle and save thedrilling cost.Therefore,this study is not only of theoretical value,but also of great practical value and practical significance to solve the problem of horizontal well drilling speed.
