Research On Application Of Mosaic Patterns In Modern Fashion Design

Mosaic pattern originates from architectural design;it has a long history and rich cultural deposits.Experienced culture development,it has formed special aesthetic characteristic.Mosaic pattern has already broken the limits of architectural decoration,and has been widely used in different kinds of fields such as graphic design and fashion design.As a carrier for performance of fashion clothing,it can reflect the current popular trend,so more and more fashion designers will be use Mosaic pattern into their clothes and trying to understand and develop the Mosaic art.In this paper,the author uses the theory of art history and aesthetic theory,first of all,combined with a large number of literature study of Mosaic pattern,including the concept of Mosaic pattern,origin,development,aesthetic characteristics,art forms and so on.Secondly,the paper analyzes the representation of Mosaic patterns in clothing,understands the expression techniques and common parts,and summarizes the application trend of Mosaic patterns in modern fashion design.In the existing way of expression,find new methods;finally,through the practice of costume design,the application of Mosaic pattern in modern clothing design has been explored in methodology.Therefore,it is feasible to verify the design concept and expression technique practiced in the design practice of this paper.Through the study of mosaics,The author generalizes the mosaic pattern has aesthetic features with various elements,rich colors,unique sense of the images,and the art forms include different individual shapes,various arrangements and and the color blocks are randomly matched;The main form of expression in costume design is reflected in three aspects: pattern,color,and shape.Through design practice is summarized to join as wrong sense Mosaic pattern not only changed the dimensional feeling of original clothing,make clothing in the visual space on the present actual situation changes,with a strong decorative,but also can enrich clothing structure,show the different sense of form.
