The aqueous synthesized ?-? group nanocrystals(NCs)or quantum dots(QDs)which have excellent photoelectric characteristics, good water solubility and strong stability are known as a major class of electrochemiluminescence(ECL)reagents. The NCs with strong and monochromatic ECL radiation can be utilized to construct various types of ECL sensor. The research of NCs' ECL have been for nearly 20 years and some ECL mechanisms have been proposed. However, the understanding of NCs' ECL is still at the stage of exploration. For examples, the effect of surface states/surface defects on the ECL behavior of NCs is lack of in-depth understanding;few reports about the ECL behavior and mechanism of the complex system and the common detector just records the ECL intensity. The main contents can be carried out as follows:1.?-? core-shell CdTe/CdS QDs is used as the research model. The surface state of the passivated shell is only changed by means of counterion adsorption and the effect of surface state on ECL bahaviors of CdTe/CdS NCs is investigated.By changing the number of S vacancies on the CdS shell, the position of ECL peak of the NCs can be controlled. The possible mechanism is proposed through detailed electrochemical measurements(cyclic voltammetry(CV)and differential pulse voltammetry(DPV))and spectroscopy(fluorescence spectrum and spooling ECL spectra).2.Continue to explore the effect of surface state on ECL behavior of NCs.CdTe@ZnSe hybrid NCs are synthesized and S vacancies are produced or blocked by adsorbing counterions at the different interfaces of hybrid NCs.The variable S vacancies like "valves" to control the routes of trap electron on the NCs surface and modulate the number of ECL peaks during the cathodic scan.3.As an application of the ECL behavior of ?-? quantum dots, the CdTe and CdSe QDs were utilized as ECL emitters to simultaneously detect the tumor suppressor gene fragment WTp53 and the oncogene fragment MUp53.However,the traditional ECL analyzer can only collect the total ECL signal.Herein,we designed a dichroic mirrors assisted ECL analyzer with and two separate PMTs as detectors for simultaneous and quantitative detection of WTp53 and MUp53 DNA fragments in the wavebands-resolved way.
