Superhydrophobic materials are widely used in various fields because of their excellent performance,but their practical applications are often limited by the preparation process and material cost,therefore,researchers are required to further study.Based on the ethanol induced phase inversion method,we innovated the preparation process of superhydrophobic materials and optimized the material properties to meet the requirements of practical applications.The main content is as follows:?1?Superhydrophobic surface with self-cleaning function like lotus leaf can inhibit bacterial adhesion to some extent,however,it cannot completely avoid bacterial contamination because it could not kill them.We proposed a modified sol-gel method to prepare self-cleaning and antibacterial coating.Zeolitic imidazolate framework-8?ZIF-8?nanoparticles with good hydrophobic and antibacterial properties was mixed with Polyvinylidene fluoride?PVDF?colloidal particle suspension,then,the PVDF/ZIF-8 nanocomposite was modified with 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane?POTS?to prepare PVDF/ZIF-8/POTS?PZP?coating solution.The resultant PZP coating has a high contact angle?>160°?and a low sliding angle?<7°?.Meanwhile,it is found that the dirt particles accumulated on the surface could be easily washed off by rolling water droplets,demonstrating its superb self-cleaning function.Notably,the PZP nanocomposite coating showed 100%antibacterial activity against E.coli,indicating the excellent antibacterial function.In addition,the textile modified by PZP coating solution can effectively separate the oil-water mixture.?2?The hazards of oil/water mixtures,especially emulsions,have been plaguing people for many years.Highly porous Polyvinylidene fluoride/Polydimethylsiloxane?PVDF/PDMS?blend membrane with superhydrophobic-superoleophilic property was successfully prepared through ethanol-induced phase inversion process.The blend membrane showed a water contact angle of 164±1.9°and an oil contact angle of 0°.With high porosity and superior selective wettability,the PVDF/PDMS blend membranes can separate various surfactant-stabilized water-in-oil nanoscale emulsions quickly.When derived solely by gravity,the filtration flux could up to713±24855±45 L m-2 h-1 while the separation efficiency exceed 99.83%.Moreover,PVDF/PDMS blends membrane have excellent reusability in the separation of surfactant-stabilized water-in-oil emulsions.
