With the economic development of PRC,haze and indoor air pollution became one of the huge hindrances which will interfere citizens' happy life.As a major constituent of indoor air pollution and atmospheric contamination,the volatile organic compounds?VOCs?has attracted widely concentration.Toluene was one of the common compounds of indoor air,which can severely damage the nervous system of human body.The photodegradation of toluene makes a lot of sense in the degradation of the remainders,especially the benzene series.Photocatalytic degradation is a non-pollution method which is widely used in the treatment of VOCs.Owing to excellent light stability,moderate cost,non-toxic,and the thoroughly degrading ability,Titanium Oxide became the optimal choice among all the catalysts.However,the normally recombination of photoelectron-hole and the too big bind gap have hindered the photodegradation of TiO2.As a result,the improve of TiO2 was focus on?1?enhance the photocelctron-hole separation efficienfy and?2?expand TiO2 response to visible light.In this paper,the photocatalytic efficiency of TiO2 was improved by integrating TiO2 and Graphene Oxide,TiO2,GO and hydrotalcite.The main research results in this paper are:?1?Using improved Hummers' methods prepared GO,and the coprecipitation method was used to prepare LDH and LDH/GO,and the hydrolysis methods was used to loaded 9nm-sized TiO2 particles in the surface of GO and LDH/GO.According to the results of XRD,SEM-EDS,HRTEM,FTIR,Raman,XPS analysi,both TiO2@GO and TiO2@LDH/GO have heterojuction structure:C-Ti in TiO2@GO and C-O-Ti inTi02@LDH/GO.?2?A method which can detect the concentration of gaseous toluene by the ultraviolet spectrophotometry was put forward.After proved the good air tightness of the system.The standard curve was drawn and the precision and stability test was conducted.The results proved in situ mensuration is a feasible and reliable method and got the conversion formula of Uv absorbance-toluene concentration:A=7.113x10-4C-0.00079.?3?Under simulated sunlight irradiation,the degradation rate of 171.6 mg/m3 gaseous toluene was 87.7%?TiO2@GO?and 85.9%?TiO2@LDH/GO?respectively,shows a significant improvement of catalytic ability.Conducted the kinetic study and finally got the conclusion that photocatalytic degradation is the main way to decomposition of gaseous toluene.Furthermore,in the repeated experiments,both two composite catalysts shows good degraded capacity even after 5 times reuse,reflected quite good stability.
