In consideration of the importance of white-light polymer light-emitting diodes(WPLEDs)in solid-state lighting and flat-panel displays,this thesis focused on the development of series of PVK-supported Zn2+-containing or Ir3+-containing metallopolymer-type hybrid materials.On the one hand,through the covalently-grating of vinyl-modified Zn2+-complex or Ir3+-complex into PVK,the metallopolymer-type hybrid materials could give excellent mechanical property,thermal stability and film forming property.On the other hand,their color-tuanble direct white-light could also be realized.Moreover,using the PVK-supported Ir3+-containing metallopolymer-type hybrid material as the emitting layer,its white polymer light-emitting diode was fabricated,and its electroluminescent performance was also explored.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,based on the self-assembly of the organic ligand Schiff-base ligand HMP(HMP =(E)-N-(2-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylideneamino)phenyl)-methacrylamide)and benzimidazole ligand 4VHPBI(4VHPBI = 1-(4-vinylbenzyl)-2-phenyl-1Hbenzo[d]imidazole)with Zn(OAc)2·2H2O or Ir Cl3·3H2O,two vinyl-modified complex monomers [Zn2(HMP)3(OAc)] and [Ir(4VPBI)2(acac)](Hacac = pentane-2,4-dione)were obtained,respectively.Moreover,besides the structural characterization by 1H NMR,XRD,FT-IR and EA,their optical properties and electrochemical properties were also studied.Secondly,Through the copolymerization of complex monomer [Zn2(HMP)3(OAc)] or [Ir(4VPBI)2(acac)] with NVK,series of PVK-supported metallopolymer-type hybrid materials Poly(NVK-co-[Zn2(HMP)3(OAc)])and Poly(NVK-co-[Ir(4VPBI)2(acac)])were synthesized,respectively.Moreover,their characterization from 1H NMR,PXRD and GPC and their physical properties were also examined.The results showed that besides the improved physical properties as compared to complex monomers,their color-tunable to direct white-light was also realized.Finally,using the PVK-supported Ir3+-containing metallopolymer-type hybrid material as the emitting layer,its white polymer light-emitting diode was fabricated with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT: PSS/Sample/BCP/TPBI/Li F/Al,and ite electroluminescent performance was also explored.
