Laser cutting technology of three Dimensional sheet metal pieces of is used widely in the field of automobile manufacturing,so the intelligent trajectory planning and fabrication processing of laser cutting has been more and more important in the motor industry.This paper researches in trajectory planning and fabrication processing of three dimensional laser cutting,put forward the surface merging methods of splicing,and designed intelligent algorithm for discrete points processing,and finished machining contour extraction and discreteness and intelligent trajectory planning for laser cutting of three dimensional sheet metal pieces.Aiming at some general process issues in laser cutting of three dimensional sheet metal pieces,the corresponding solutions are proposed.The object of improving the efficiency and quality of three dimensional laser cutting are achieved.The main contents of the study are as follows:(1)For the technical difficulties of three dimensional sheet metal laser cutting trajectory planning,such as the interference of intersecting line in splicing surface,mixed and disorder discrete points,discretely repeated profile,redundant and defective discrete points,put forward the method of multi-spliced surface combination,and design a intelligent algorithm to process discrete point.These effective methods finished machining contour extraction and discreteness and intelligent trajectory planning for laser cutting of three dimensional sheet metal pieces.(2)For some process issues in laser cutting of three dimensional sheet metal parts,the method of setting the cutting direction of contour ring in the processing system is proposed to solve the problem of radius compensation for laser beam.Auxiliary paths are adopted for the sharp corners,punching points and lead line.In this paper,the method of interference preprocessing is put forward to avoid the path interference in generating tool path.(3)Analysis the requirements of system and design the structure,then use CAA secondary development technology in the environment of CAITIA,completed the development of the system for trajectory planning and process of three dimensional laser cutting applied in complex sheet metal parts.Finally,the effectiveness and applicability of the system in cutting trajectory planning and fabrication processing are verified by experimental verification.
