When the dust concentration exceeds a certain value,it will cause dust pollution that has impact on behavior of operators,which harms health,safety production,etc.In addition,the dust may cause explosion,which will cause the great harm to the safety of people.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the research on the measurement of dust concentration and the distribution law of dust concentration.The online measurement of dust concentration is conducive to control the change of dust concentration in the workshop in time,which can avoid the harm caused by the higher dust concentration to operators.If the distribution law of dust concentration in the limited space is analyzed,which can provide the reference to the work about the protection of operators and proper arrangement of dust removal facilities.Between the research topics,the dust concentration measurement is the basis of the research,which can be used as a measurement technique,and also can provide technical support for the research about distribution law of dust concentration in dust environment.The analysis of distribution law is the application of dust measurement,and those research results can provide theoretical support for prevention and control of dust pollution.To provide technical support and theoretical basis for the controlling of dust pollution,the following topics were studied based on VBM(Vision Based Measurement,VBM)and image transmission characteristics:Atmospheric light scattering effect and occlusion effect limit the measurement accuracy.In view of theoretical analysis method and experimental research method,a measurement system based VBM for dust concentration is investigated to improve the impact,and then a dust concentration measurement based on image transmission is established.The experimental results of proposed method show that the accuracy of relative error is 3%,the accuracy of relative uncertainty is 2.05%,the correlation is 0.9978,and the measurement period is 2s.Image transmission is selected as the image recognition feature of dust concentration,which can reduce the influence of atmospheric scattering effect and dust particle occlusion effect on the measurement accuracy for achieving the improvement of measurement accuracy.Point measurement is always applied in the traditional similar experimental method on the analysis of distribution law of dust concentration,and which the precision is influenced by the number of sampling points.In the purpose of analyzing the law of dust concentration more intuitive and accurate in a limited space,a study on applying the characteristics on face-scanning-measuring of VBM and image transmission is carried out.The empirical formulas are constructed for the distribution of dust concentration in X-direction and Z-direction.Experimental results show that the distribution law of dust concentration can be regarded as an exponential function first and then oscillating function relationship between the dust concentration and the distance from the dust source in the X-direction,a parabolic function between the dust concentration and the distance from the dust source in the Z-direction.In the end face XOZ,there is a type of laminar distribution at lower concentration or turbulence distribution at higher concentration.
