Supramolecular self-assembly plays a significant role in the function of natural biological systems and is a really important strategy to fabricate smart functional nanomaterials.Supramolecular gels as a kind of self-assembly materials have received a great deal of attention due to their potential application in biomaterials,catalyzers,electronic devices,templates for nanostructures,sensor,drug carriers and oil recovery.Historically,the discovery of new gels has largely relied on chance.Hence,the functionalization of supramolecular self-assembly was studied by introducing specific functional groups into the design of the gelation factor.The main research contents are as follows:?1?A thiophene-based hybrid organogel system consisting of complex iridium?Ir?and EuCl3·6H2O was designed and synthesized to realize dual responses to volatile acid and organic amine vapors.The photophysical properties and self-assembly of compound1 and hybrid organogel were also studied in detail.Interestingly,emission properties of the hybrid organogel 1-Ir-Eu could be in interconversion between cyan light and red light via addition of NaOH and CF3COOH.This dual-response process could be repeated for many times.This work provides effective a method for producing multifunctional supramolecular materials for senor of volatile acid and organic amine vapors.?2?Two simple and novel gelators?G-P with pyridine and G-B with benzene?with different C-4 substitution groups on naphthalimide derivative have been designed and characterized.Two gelators could form organogels in some solvents or mixed solvents.G-P and G-B were employed in detecting nitroaromatic compounds?NACs?due to their electron-rich property.Comparing with G-B,G-P is more sensitive and selective towards2,4,6-trinitrophenol?TNP?with the detection limit of 5.86×10-77 mol·L-1.G-P molecule could detect TNP in water,organic solvent media as well as using test strips.It is worth mentioning that organogel G-P can not only detect TNP,but also remove TNP from solution into organogel system.?3?Two new gelators?1a and 1b?containing bis-naphthalimides group were designed and synthesized.The gelator 1b could form gels in DMF and mixed solvent of DMSO/H2O.The gel 1b formed in mixed solvent of DMSO/H2O had the ability of distinguishing of aliphatic and aromatic amines.At the same time,the gelator 1b could selectively and sensitively detect p-phenylenediamine in solution with the detection limit of 8.961×10-88 mol·L-1.This research would expand the supramolecular self-assembly materials application in sensor field and offer a new detection method for organic amines.
