The pilot test of nitrogen foam in heavy oil field of LKQ has achieved good results. In order to enhance the EOR,12 well groups of the YD 204 and 4 well groups of the Lu 2 were newly added based on the pilot test. But,there are differences in reservoir properties and well spacing between new added well groups and test well groups.Whether the optimal foam agent and technological parameter for test well groups adjust to new added well groups are the questions need to answer. For this reason, this paper integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge such as fundamentals of petrophysics?reservoir engineering?Fluid mechanics, and uses experimental research and numerical calculations as means to carry out corresponding research work on this issue. In this paper, according to reservoir and formation properties of new added well groups, screening experiment were used to choose the best foam agent which use foaming volume,half-life,and composite index as evaluation indicators for new added well groups. The experimental study shows that foam agent BS-12 is optimal agent for new added well group and also got the optimal foam concentration by experiment. Then, used CMG software to build the model based on typical well group from new added well group.Optimizing injection mode.Do research on optimal technological parameter which include N2/foam velocity?gas liquid ratio?injection timing?injection volume in different formation thickness?heterogeneity and well spacing. Also, estimated the formation properties and well spacing's effect on optimal technological parameter by Orthogonal design. The research of this paper has guiding significance for the efficient making nitrogen foam process plan and construction on site.
