While the livestock and poultry industry in China is developing rapidly,a large number of livestock and poultry manure poses a threat to the environment and the sustainable development of our country. In this paper,we use pyrolysis carbonization to treat cattle manure and pig manure, and explore its pyrolysis and biochar's characteristics of fertilizer utilization,in order to solve environmental pollution and accomplish the resource utilization of livestock manure. To explore the effects of pyrolysis temperature on the physicochemical properties, nutrient characteristics and pore characteristics of biological charcoal from the pyrolysis of livestock and poultry manure,in the meanwhile, improve the material fluidity and enhance the heat and mass transfer effect of livestock manure pyrolysis process, the research use the corncob as the conditioning material and the mixed pyrolysis carbonization of livestock manure, and the influence of mixed pyrolysis on the charcoal characteristics needs to be further studied. The research intends to use corncob straw which as conditioning materials and animal manure mixed to pyrolysis,in order to provide experimental basis and reference for the use of animal manure as fertilizer,The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The basic properties of raw materials(elemental analysis and component analysis)are important factors affecting the pyrolysis of biological carbon.Corncob straw has higher content of cellulose and hemicellulose than cow dung and pig manure, while the decomposition of cellulose and hemicellulose was the main process during low temperature pyrolysis.Compared with plant biomass, the content of C in livestock manure is low, while O content is relatively high. This is the main reason leading to low calorific value of livestock manure and plant biomass.(2)The basic pyrolysis characteristics of animal manure and straw mixed biochar(analysis of carbon yield,pH,industrial).when the pyrolysis temperature is 200 degrees centigrade, livestock manure and straw mixture without pyrolysis, when the temperature is over 200 degrees centigrade, the higher the temperature, the more intense the reaction of pyrolysis, while Carbon yield decreased,pH increased. The addition of corncob can help to regulate the high alkaline pH of biochar from the mixture of livestock and poultry manure and straw.Corncob straw contained more volatile and less ash than cow dung and pig manure.During pyrolysis, biochar volatilization decreased, ash increased and fixed carbon content increased.(3)The analysis of nutrient characteristics of biochar mixed with livestock manure and straw showed that the increase of pyrolysis temperature led to the increase of total P and total K content in biochar and enrichment of heavy metals such as Mg,Ca,Na,Fe and other mineral elements, such as Cu and Zn,while the total N loss increased. The pyrolysis of biochar mixed with pig manure and straw has better nutrient characteristics than that of pyrolytic biochar produced by cow manure and straw. In all,the nutrient characteristics of pig manure and corn straw mixed biochar with the temperature of 300 and the amount of straw added 20% were best, and they were in accordance with the standard of organic fertilizer and suitable for the application of organic fertilizer to the soil.(4)The pore characteristics analysis results of livestock manure and straw mixed biochar showed that cow dung and straw biochar, pig manure and straw biochar respectively in the pyrolysis temperature of 400 ?,500 ?,while total porosity, the surface area and total pore volume performs best. The pyrolysis of biochar mixed with cow manure and straw has better pore characteristics which are suitable for the use of the pore characteristics of soil than that of pig manure and straw. The mixed biological carbon of cow dung and straw has a positive correlation with the adsorption of ammonia and nitrate in water and the surface area of biological carbon.Addition of cow dung and straw biochar to soil helps to increase soil ammonia nitrogen uptake. The addition of different concentrations of cow dung and straw biochar(straw amount is 20% pyrolysis temperature is 400?)to the test of nitrate in soil organic matrix shows, the mass fraction was 2% biochar can reduce ammonia loss of 56.32% organic substrates in soil, with mass fraction of biological carbon 10% to reduce nitrate losses of 33.91% organic substrates in soil.According to the results of comprehensive experiments, pig manure and straw biochar are suitable for their nutrient characteristics, the biochar which is produced in 300? and added 20% straw can be considered as application of organic fertilizer to soil, the biochar which is produced in 500? and added 20% straw can be considered as the application of phosphate fertilizer to soil.Cow dung and straw biochar are suitable for their pore characteristics, the biochar which is produced in 400? and added 20% straw can be considered as soil additives or soil amendments to soil. The addition of straw can contribute to the dehydration pretreatment of livestock and poultry manure, which has a positive effect on the heat and mass transfer during pyrolysis and the actual production of slagging, such as pyrolysis equipment, and straw should be added according to actual production.
