Ceramic material is a very important inorganic nonmetallic material in the production process,because it has high temperature,corrosion resistance,high hardness characteristics,is widely used in the alternative to traditional metal materials.But in the production of ceramic materials,the inevitable defects,which will lead to the decline in performance,the traditional ceramic testing methods are generally used to detect,due to poor manual detection stability,there is no uniform standard and other shortcomings,this paper Based on the hardware platform of STM32 + FPGA and the image processing algorithm,an on-line detection system of ceramic tube defects based on feature extraction and matching is designed for the defect detection of square ceramic tube.The main contents include:1)The design of the hardware of the on-line detection system of ceramic pipe defect includes:the selection of light source,the selection of camera,FPGA + STM32F429 main control circuit design,motion control unit design,human-computer interaction unit design,ctc.,by mechanical,,Machine vision and other knowledge of the combination of design and implementation of ceramic zero tube defects on-line detection system for the detection of square ceramic tube defects.2)Research on the detection algorithm of on-line detection system for ceramic tube defects,including pretreatment of cceramic tube images,such as gray histogram,morphological operations such as expansion,corrosion,open operation,closed operation,etc.,Through the expansion of the object can be added to increase the boundaries of some pixels to expand the role of the image.3)For the square ceramic tube,by extracting the image of the region of interest to the ceramic tube image object extraction,local block and area method can be combined to achieve the idea of the identification of ceramic tube defects in the system,after determining the target area,through The accumulation of pixels in the connected area determines whether the ceramic tube image is defective.The experimental results show that the design of the ceramic defect detection system is completed by using.the FPGA + STM32F429 platform and combined with the image processing algorithm.It is characterized by small volume,high reliability and low cost in industrial production.The method of thinking simplifies the detection process of square ceramic tubes,while also ensuring the correct rate of detection.
