Chunguang Oilfield is located between the city of Klamayi and the area of Tacheng in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.Characteristics of this oilfield reservoir:small oil area?sufficient edge water energy and good quality. The oil reservoir of this oilfield has small oil area, high porosity and permeability, and its edge water energy is sufficient,so it is possible to treat the oil and water outside the boundary as an injection well outfall, instead of using injection well network for deployment. It is found that some blocks are seriously flooded and have poor development effect by analyzing the production data of many blocks in Chunguang Oilfield.According to the literatures at home and abroad, the design of well network without systematic science is the cause of the random deployment. This paper uses numerical simulation software to plan the production well type, well distance, discharge distance, initial oil production etc reasonably. The well network optimization scheme consists of three categories: all straight well scheme, all horizontal well scheme and mixed well network scheme.Figure out the production forecast of well network optimization scheme by using numerical simulation of reservoir. The most reasonable well network deployment scheme is selected by comparing the parameters of oil production, recovery degree, final recovery rate and economic evaluation of three broad categories and actual programmes.According to the rules, ideas and characteristics of the optimal well network scheme, the optimization of well network is summarized in order to provide a solid theoretical basis for similar reservoir in the future.
