Wear is the main form of material failure,wear not only consumes the material,sometimes serious rights to add equipment maintenance frequency,greatly reduce the production efficiency,caused the significant loss of economy.Therefore,in order to reduce the material wear,research and development of new wear-resisting material is of great significance.Through chemical heat treatment on the sample surface preparation permeable layer is the most common industrial metal surface strengthening method,can effectively reduce the wear rate of workpiece.In this paper,using solid powder embedding method for silicon carbon altogether permeability,success in 42CrMo steel substrate preparation of carbonitriding layer.Research the carbon silicon carbonitriding layer of organization,structure and performance.The XRD analysis shows that phase permeability layer is mainly composed of Cr23C6,Fe3C,Mo2C.With the increase of content of SiO2,the hardness of sample thickness and permeability layer,first after rising downward trend,the trend of the wear rate increases after fall first,when the SiO2 content of 14%,maximum permeability layer thickness,1.69mm,maximum surface hardness of carbonitriding layer,63.4HRC,the wear rate of the minimum value,at 11.17%,the wear-resisting performance is good.With the increase of total infiltration temperature,the hardness of sample thickness and permeability layer,first after rising downward trend,the trend of the wear rate increases after fall first,when the heating temperature is 1020?,the maximum surface hardness of carbonitriding layer,65.6HRC,reach maximum permeability layer thickness,1.75mm,wear rate,the lowest 10.6%.With the decrease of the graphite particle size,permeability layer surface hardness and permeability layer thickness increasing,the wear rate is falling,when the SiO2 particle size of 30nm,graphite particle size of 20 microns,carbonitriding layer hardness peak,66.3HRC,reach maximum permeability layer thickness,1.89mm,the wear rate per unit area,the lowest was 9.75%,the wear-resisting performance is best.
