With the increasing amounts of industrial oily wastewater and frequent oil spills,which seriously endanger human health,water environment and ecological balance.Therefore,oil-water separation has become a global problem.The design and preparation of materials with special wettability is an effective way to separate oil-water mixture effectively.Based on this,man-made surfaces with excellent oil-water separation performance have been prepared using different methods?lithography,electrodeposition,colloidal assembly,chemical vapor deposition and electrospinning,etc.?.These materials are mainly divided into two categories:superhydrophobic/superoleophilic and superhydrophilic/underwater superoleophobic.Considering the preparation cost and practical application,this paper mainly prepared two special wettability oil-water separation materials:Firstly,a superhydrophobic/superoleophilic material that can be recycled and used in a complex environment was prepared.Using OPBA as molecular glue,the fluorine-grafted graphene?f-rGO?is densely adhered to the surface of commercial materials such as polypropylene?PP?film,cotton fabric and polyurethane?PU?by the low cost and simple dip-coating method.Compared to previously reported superwetting materials,our superhydrophobic coating has much broader advantages,including simple method,low cost and an extremely adhesive strength on the substrate as well as outstanding repellency towards highly acidic,basic,and saturated salty solutions.More importantly,the coated membrane can efficiently separate the surfactant-stabilized water-in-oil emulsion only under gravity and have a extreme separation flux up to1395Lm-2h-.In addition,this paper studies a superhydrophilic/underwater superoleophobic and water-washable coating material by using the hydrolysis of TMSPMA on cotton fabric and the free radical polymerization with zwitterionic SBMA.The prepared cotton fabric was resistant to strong acids,alkalis and mechanical rubbing.It can not only separate the oil-water mixtures and the surfactant-stabilized oil-in-water emulsion,but more importantly it can be washed Sudan ? by water.
