China is a major mining country for coal resources.Among these mines mined in the 1960 s and 1980 s,most of them were open-pit mining methods due to the limitations of the previous technical conditions.During the mining process,a large amount of waste stones were accumulated.These waste stones were accumulated.Around the mine.The current main solution is to carry out secondary mining,but the existing ore sorting method cannot perfectly solve this situation.In order to solve this situation,this paper studies a kind of ore fast sorting device based on LIBS technology.As a new rapid detection method,laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy has a wide range of application prospects in the field of chemical element analysis.Because of its fast detection speed and no sample pretreatment,LIBS technology is particularly suitable for industrial field detection.This article gives a more detailed overview of the current development of LIBS technology,introduces the basic principles and key components of LIBS,and designs a scheme for ore sorting based on LIBS technology;and various systems based on STM32 for LIBS ore sorting devices.: Hardware design and software development for laser ranging system,automatic focusing system,automatic sorting system,and LIBS detection system;determination of nickel element detection line based on NIST database;exploration of ore sorting device for nickel ore detection The best experimental parameters,including delay time and laser energy,were obtained according to the experimental data and the optimal experimental parameters of the ore sorting device were obtained.
