Phosphorus,as the most critical limiting nutrient element in the eutrophication process,should be controlled and treated to reduce the phosphorus input to Chaohu Lake.This research relied on the National Natural Science Fund for Young Scientists,“Research on Release Intensity and Migration and Transformation of Rock Source Phosphorus in Typical Geological Phosphorus-rich Zone in Chaohu Lake Basin”project,and selected the phosphorus-rich geologic zone on the north bank of the Chaohu Lake and the M type mountain of rich phosphate belt on the East Coast as study area.Major work is conducting spotting,sampling,measurement and analysis in the study area in an attempt to explore the spatial and temporal distribution of surface water and groundwater,and searching phosphorus sources in the phosphorus-rich geologic regions of the northern and eastern banks of the Chaohu Lake.The results are as follows:?1?According to the groundwater data from the north shore of the Chaohu Lake from 2013 to 2015,the groundwater total phosphorus,conductivity,redox potential?Eh?,pH value,total hardness,total dissolved solids?TDS?,K+?Na+?Ca2+?Mg2+?SO42-?HCO3-?CO32-?Cl-?F-?NO3-were spatially interpolated separately to obtain spatial distribution maps of these indices,and water samples were classified using cluster analysis in SPSS software.The correlation between the indicators was analyzed to exploit correlations,combined with the principal component analysis of the optimal scale.The groundwater phosphorus sources in the phosphorus-rich geological area of the northern bank of the Chaohu Lake were found including leaching and dissolution of phosphorus-rich strata,ion exchange between groundwater and minerals,and agriculture.Surface source sewage.?2?The spatial-temporal comparison of groundwater P content in the Chaobei basin for the past three years has been carried out.The spatial distribution pattern is almost unchanged,and there is a small-scale decline and then a rising rule on the time scale.?3?The same analysis and treatment of surface water,groundwater,and sediment data for 2016 and 2017 in the phosphorus-rich geological belt of the M-mountain on the east coast of Chaohu Lake resulted in the spatial distribution of total phosphorus concentrations in surface water,groundwater,and sediments.The spatial distribution of total phosphorus concentration of three kinds of samples is very similar in two years.The advanced processing data shows that the phosphorus sources of groundwater and sediments in the phosphorus-rich geological belt of the East Coast including weathering and leaching of phosphorus-rich minerals,domestic sewage,industrial and mining wastewater,and ion exchange of groundwater and phosphorus-containing minerals.?4?The total phosphorus concentration of surface water in M-mountain area of eastern shore of Chaohu lake from 2016 to 2017 decreased significantly,and the spatial distribution was similar.
