Recently,copper halide based coordination polymers materials have directed much attention due to their structural diversity,it is a result of a vast variety of available inorganic modules and organic ligands,as well as many possible coordination modes between them.Among them,certain types of structures,such as those built on Cu I monomers,Cu2I2 dimers and Cu4I4 ubane tetramers,have shown high luminescence internal uantum yields.They are considered as promising substitutes for conventional rare-earth lement(REE)based phosphors currently used in general lighting devices.In the second chapter,six compounds(1)[Cu2I2(C24H28N4)],(2)[Cu2I2(C48H44N2P2)],(3)[Cu2I2(C4H4N2)],(4)[Cu4 I4(C26 H24 S4)],(5)[ Cu4 I4(C72 H60 P4)and(6)[Cu2 I2(C48 H38 N4 P2)] have been synthesised by reflux reactions.In compound 1,2 and 6,the structure of the copper(I)halide cluster is Cu2I2 dimers(0D).In compound 4and 5,the structure of the copper(I)halide cluster is 0D Cu4I4 ubane tetramers.The structure of the copper(I)halide cluster in the compound 3 is one-dimensional(1D)chains.We study fluorescence properties of compounds 1-6,the results show that these compounds have blue-green,blue,lemon yellow,green,thallite and yellow emission.In the third chapter,three hybrid phosphors have been preparated successfully by mechanically blending a UV emitting phosphor 2 with a yellow emitting phosphor(e.g.,6),in addition to,we choose used the popular polymer matrix for luminescent Cu(I)coordination polymers,which is a convenient,easy-to-prepare polymer with remarkable optical quality.Polymer-doped systems have obvious technical advantages over glass ones,such as flexibility and prominent processing ability,which are important for optical fibers and fiber amplifiers.Cu(I)coordination polymer-doped PMMA opens up bright prospects for application in the fields of farm plastic-film and organic fluorescent glass.
