As the aluminum smelting process produces 1%?3%of aluminum ash,the analysis of aluminum ash content shows that the aluminum ash contains a large amount of alumina,aluminum and aluminum nitride with economic value.Aluminum ash contains alkali metals and heavy metal elements that may infiltrate underground to cause direct or indirect pollution to the environment(e.g.AIN in aluminum ash and hydrolysis of water to generate NH3,HCN).Research of this work is based on xinjiang tianlong mining aluminum ash,with eight steel company of baosteel group as a platform of plate production line,120 tons converter,the dragon mining aluminum ash by use of dry powder into the ball technology,the will be aluminum ash ball in the middle of the converter steelmaking deoxidization process,LF refining process application,according to the results of the application of aluminum ash is studied in the middle of harmful substances in the steelmaking process in the middle of the transformation characteristics of innocuity,as well as the effect on the steel quality and cost.This work study,aluminum ash according to the characteristics of composition,directly to the production of different composition of aluminum slag ball,used in steelmaking deoxidization process and refining furnace refining slagging process,its function can meet the steel-making deoxidizing needs and the needs of the refining furnace slagging,the AIN in the middle of the oxide metallurgy technology,to maximize potential value of AIN.The work of this study indicate that in steelmaking process using aluminum ash(aluminum slag ball),can solve the application of aluminum ash,full amount and non-ferrous smelting and cross the innovation process of iron and steel smelting industry,aluminum ash waste recycling helps to electrolytic aluminium industry and iron and steel smelting cost control,is the effective method to promote the development of green circular economy.
